Thank you for stopping by. My name is Jackie Kickish, and I’m a Doctor of Physical Therapy. 

It is my passion to help others, and that’s why I have decided to embark on a new journey to help busy women of all ages to become the healthiest they can be. My career as a licensed physical therapist enables me to engage in workouts without stressing or straining the body. 

For those of you who aren’t familiar with the role of a physical therapist in the healthcare field, I’ll give you a brief overview. We work with those who have health-related conditions that limit their mobility and the ability to perform functional activities in their daily lives. Our goal is to restore mobility, reduce pain, and prevent disability.

I teach effective at-home workouts for those who don’t have the time to go to the gym three or four days each week, and I am now offering this to my blog readers. I will provide you with simple recipes that are healthy for you, taste great and don’t require you to spend hours in the kitchen preparing meals. 

After having three babies, including a set of twins, I struggled to lose the baby weight. Now that I have a six-month-old, I’m back on the journey to lose that weight again. If you’ve given birth, you know the weight I’m talking about. It’s the weight that wants to linger well into your child’s first birthday.  Even if you’ve never had a child, you know how difficult it can be to lose that extra bit of weight.

When I became a mother for the first time, I realized how important it is to be healthy, both physically and mentally, not only for myself but for my family, but as a busy working mom, finding time was difficult. Working a program into my busy work and family schedule required careful planning.

Being healthy isn’t about strict dieting and going to the gym with a Hydro Flask filled with a power drink. It’s about balance, and making the right decisions for our bodies and minds long term.

That’s why I started this blogging journey. I want to inspire you on the road to lead a healthy and positive lifestyle by offering you exercise tips, nutrition, meal plans, and recipes to fit your busy life. I’ll share my secret for losing 40 pounds with home workouts and little equipment. 

In January 2020, I will be offering online workouts that you can subscribe to, and I’ll be offering other exciting programs that you won’t want to miss.
